Gaza: The death toll from the relentless Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 64,871, with 164,610 reported wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals in the enclave received 68 fatalities and 346 injuries during the latest 24-hour reporting period.
Since the occupation breached the ceasefire deal on March 18, the toll has climbed to 12,321 fatalities and 52,569 injuries, the statement noted.
The statement pointed out that in the past 24 hours, hospitals received 10 fatalities from those who were striving to find aid, along with eight injuries, bringing the total number of those who were trying to make a living to 2,494 deaths and 18,135 wounded.
The Israeli occupation forces seem to have prosecuted a war of annihilation against Gaza and its people, giving no heed to calls from the international community to halt the killing machine and open crossings to deliver humanitarian aid, amid an unprecedented calamitous humanitarian situation.
