Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 66,225 martyrs, in addition to 168,938 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza released a statement on Thursday indicating that hospitals in the Strip received 77 martyrs and 222 injured people in the past 24 hours. The statement noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

The ministry further indicated that since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18, the death toll and injuries have reached 13,357 martyrs and 56,897 wounded. Additionally, over the past 24 hours, hospitals received 2 martyrs and 44 injuries, bringing the total number of aid-seeking victims to 2,582 martyrs and more than 18,974 injuries.

The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip remains provisional, with thousands of additional victims trapped under the rubble. Rescue operations face significant challenges due to a lack of equipment and the targeting of relief efforts by occupation forces, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation that has reached the level of famine.
