Death Toll of Israeli Aggression on Gaza Strip Rises to 67,913 Martyrs, 170,134 Wounded

Gaza: The death toll in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 67,913 martyrs, in addition to 170,134 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated on Tuesday that hospitals in the Strip received 44 martyrs over the past 24 hours, 38 of whom were recovered, in addition to 29 wounded. The report highlighted that many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach them at this time.

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, reached in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, went into effect last Friday afternoon. The agreement was preceded by an announcement from the Israeli government that it had ratified the agreement, commenced withdrawing its military from populated areas and sites in the Gaza Strip, and initiated the return of displaced persons to the northern Gaza Strip. This marks the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war in Gaza.
