Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about poor horizontal visibility in certain areas later, as part of its daily weather report. The inshore weather is expected to be relatively cold and misty, with fog developing in some locations by the early hours of Saturday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the offshore forecast indicates scattered clouds and the possibility of light rain in certain areas later on. The wind patterns will vary, with inshore winds predominantly northwesterly at speeds of 03 to 12 knots, while offshore winds will also be northwesterly, ranging from 06 to 16 knots.
The sea state is predicted to be relatively calm, with inshore conditions between 1 to 3 feet and offshore conditions ranging from 2 to 4 feet. Visibility onshore is expected to be between 04 to 09/02 kilometers, potentially decreasing in some areas later, while offshore visibility will be between 05 to 10 kilometers.
