Department of Meteorology Warns of Strong Wind and High Sea Tonight

Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 am on Friday will see some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be some clouds, warning of strong wind and high sea. Winds inshore will be northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot gusting to 24 knot at places at first. Offshore it will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 to 20 knot gusting to 26 knot at times. Sea state inshore will be 1 - 3 feet surging to 4 feet at times, while offshore will be 3 - 6 feet surging to 8 feet at times. Visibility inshore will be 5 to 10 kilometers, while offshore will be 5 to 10 kilometers.

According to Qatar News Agency, the high and low tide timings for various areas are as follows: Doha will experience high tides at 14:22 and 22:51, and low tides at 06:28 and 20:29, with temperatures ranging from 34 to 44 degrees Celsius. Dukhan will have high tides at 05:12 and 17:58 with low tide at 11:30, and temperatures between 32 and 39 degrees Celsius. In Mesaieed, high tide will occur at 16:29, with temperatures between 30 and 44 degrees Celsius.

Wakrah will see high tides at 15:42 and 23:44, and low tides at 07:20 and 20:54, with a temperature range of 33 to 43 degrees Celsius. Al Khor will have high tides at 13:59, with low tides at 06:46 and 18:32, and temperatures between 32 and 42 degrees Celsius. Ruwais is expected to have high tides at 00:24 and 13:15, with low tides at 06:36 and 19:52, and temperatures ranging from 33 to 36 degrees Celsius. Abu Samra will experience high tides at 05:28 and 17:53, with low tides at 10:44 and 23:10, and temperatures between 31 and 40 degrees Celsius.
