Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Friday will see scattered clouds and be relatively cold, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be fine, the report added, with a warning of expected strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 05 - 15 KT, gusting to 20 KT in certain areas initially. Offshore, the wind will be stronger, with northwesterly winds blowing at 18 - 25 KT, gusting to 30 KT at times.
The visibility is expected to range between 5 - 10 KM. Regarding the sea state, inshore conditions will see waves at 2 - 4 FT, occasionally rising to 5 FT. Offshore, the sea will be rougher, with wave heights between 5 - 8 FT, rising to 10 FT at times.
