Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Sunday will be partially cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, which may become thundery at times. It is expected to be dusty by the afternoon and cold by night. The Department of Meteorology issued warnings about thundery rain, strong wind, and poor horizontal visibility anticipated by the afternoon.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will also be partly cloudy with a possibility of scattered rain, which might turn thundery at times and dusty during the evening. The wind inshore is predicted to be southeasterly at 05-15 KT, shifting to northwesterly 10-20 KT and gusting up to 30 KT by the afternoon.
Offshore winds will initially be southeasterly-southwesterly at 12-22 KT, gusting to 32 KT, and will shift to northwesterly in the evening. Sea state inshore is expected to be 2-4 ft, rising to 5 ft, while offshore conditions are anticipated to be 3-7 ft, rising to 10 ft initially.
Inshore visibility is projected to be between 4-9/2 km or less at times, while offshore visibility is expected to range from 5-9/3 km or less at times.
