Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Sunday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been detailed for various currencies, including USD, JPY, CHF, and GBP, as well as QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD are as follows: 1-month deposits are set at 3.67328, 2-months at 3.67149, 3-months at 3.66969, 6-months at 3.63020, and 12-months at 3.50544. Meanwhile, for JPY, the rates are 0.55000 for 1-month, 0.60000 for 2-months, 0.65000 for 3-months, 0.75000 for 6-months, and 0.90000 for 12-months.
For CHF deposits, the rates are negative, with 1-month at -0.26000, 2-months at -0.25000, 3-months at -0.21000, 6-months at -0.15000, and 12-months at -0.01000. GBP deposit rates are 3.69000 for both 1-month and 2-months, 3.71000 for 3-months, 3.69000 for 6-months, and 3.88000 for 12-months.
In terms of local and regional currencies, QAR deposit rates are 4.07020 for 1-month, reducing to 3.75000 for 12-months. SAR rates are 4.50000 for 1-month, consistent with 4.30000 across other terms except for 3-months at 4.40000. AED rates start at 2.05000 for 1-month and rise to 3.15000 for 12-months. BHD rates are highest for 1-month at 4.54000, decreasing to 4.27000 for 12-months.
