Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Monday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released, highlighting varied trends across different currencies.
According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for the US Dollar (USD) show a gradual decline over one month to twelve months, starting at 4.31365% for one month and decreasing to 4.27487% for twelve months.
In the Japanese Yen (JPY), the rates fluctuate significantly, beginning at 0.35000% for one month, dropping to 0.10000% at six months, and slightly increasing to 0.55000% at twelve months. For the Swiss Franc (CHF), rates are notably low, with a minor negative interest of -0.01000% at three months and a slight increase to 0.20000% at twelve months.
The British Pound (GBP) remains relatively stable with minor fluctuations, maintaining a rate of approximately 4.43000% at various intervals, except for a slight drop to 4.41000% at three months.
In the region's currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) starts at 4.85000% for one month and gradually declines to 4.55000% at twelve months. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) exhibits a peak of 5.20000% at six months, while the UAE Dirham (AED) shows a consistent rise, reaching 3.15000% at twelve months. The Bahraini Dinar (BHD) remains unchanged at 5.00000% for most intervals, except for a drop to 4.50000% at twelve months.
