Deposit Rates Issued by Qatar National Bank

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) reveal varied interest rates for different currencies and tenures. The rates indicate the bank's offerings for deposits in USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for USD deposits range from 3.95984 for a 1-month term to 3.61346 for a 12-month term. JPY deposit rates start at 0.40000 for both 1-month and 2-month terms, increasing to 0.65000 for a 12-month duration. CHF deposits show negative interest rates, beginning at -0.03000 for a 1-month term and reaching -0.13000 for a 12-month term. GBP deposits offer rates starting from 3.92000 for a 1-month term to 3.91000 for a 12-month term.

For Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposits, rates begin at 4.30000 for a 1-month term and decrease to 3.75000 for a 12-month term. Saudi Riyal (SAR) deposit rates maintain a consistent rate of 4.55000 for terms beyond 1 month, with the 1-month rate slightly higher at 4.75000. AED deposits start at 2.05000 for a 1-month term, increasing to 3.15000 for a 12-month term. Bahraini Dinar (BHD) deposits offer the highest rate of 5.07000 for a 1-month term, with subsequent terms all set at 4.63000.
