Deposit Rates Released by Qatar National Bank

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Sunday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been announced, detailing interest rates across multiple currencies and terms.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for USD deposits show a gradual decline over longer terms, starting at 3.86417 for 1 month and decreasing to 3.51111 for 12 months. Meanwhile, JPY rates begin at 0.35000 for 1 month, reaching 0.85000 for 12 months. The CHF rates maintain negative values across all terms, starting at -0.20000 for 1 month and improving slightly to -0.06000 over a 12-month term. GBP rates show a slight fluctuation, with the highest rate at 3.98000 for a 2-month term.

For local currency QAR, the 1-month deposit rate is 4.32500, decreasing to 3.87500 for a 12-month term. SAR rates start at 4.75000 for 1 month and are consistent at 4.55000 for longer terms. AED rates show a steady increase, beginning at 2.05000 for 1 month, peaking at 3.15000 for 12 months. BHD rates also show a decrease over time, starting at 4.76000 for 1 month and dropping to 4.39000 at 12 months.
