Geneva, The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) has signed a cooperation agreement with The Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). The agreement aims at strengthening collaboration in research, strategic studies, and knowledge exchange. It also is meant to support joint efforts by Bahrain and Switzerland and promote regional and global security, stability, and peace. Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdullah, Executive Director of Derasat, and Christina Orisich, representing GCSP, signed the agreement, which includes plans for workshops, training programmes, and joint projects focused on security and stability. The partnership will also foster dialogue on Gulf and regional strategic issues and encourage international cooperation. This initiative forms part of broader efforts to advance research and capacity-building, offering innovative solutions to contemporary security challenges. Source: Bahrain News Agency
