Vilnius: At least one person was killed and several others were injured on Monday when a cargo plane that took off from the German city of Leipzig crashed into a residential building in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. According to Qatar News Agency, the head of the Lithuanian branch of DHL stated that the plane is owned by one of the company's contractors, adding that the cause of the accident is not yet clear. BNS news agency referred to a rescue service spokeswoman as saying that one person was killed and three others were injured. The report added that several emergency teams were deployed at the site according to preliminary data.
