The organizers of the Diamond League Athletics has announced an increase in the prize money for athletes to record levels, starting from the next season 2025. The organizers said in a statement Wednesday that the total new prize money will amount to $9.24 million, which is about a third higher than the period between 2021-2024 during the Covid-19 pandemic. They added that the winners of each competition will receive between $30,000 and $100,000 in each round of the Diamond League during the 2025 season. The Diamond League is the elite one-day series of world athletics meetings, consisting of 15 of the most prestigious events in world athletics. Source: Qatar News Agency
