Director of the ambulance unit in the medical services in the North Gaza Governorate Fares Afaneh described the health and medical conditions in the northern Gaza Strip as catastrophic due to the continued Israeli occupation aggression against the Palestinians in the governorate for the 11th consecutive day. In special remarks to Qatar News Agency , Afaneh said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) are punishing all the residents of northern Gaza because of their steadfastness in their homes and their refusal to be displaced, stressing that the IOF are committing horrific massacres against them. He emphasized that the IOF deliberately targeted medical crews and that they fired bullets from the drones at ambulances to prevent them from rescuing the victims. He noted that the Israeli soldiers committed horrific massacres in most of the areas they penetrated, where there are still dozens of martyrs on the roads without being able to reach them. The director of the ambulance unit also noted the catastrophic living conditions of the Palestinians due to the occupation's siege of northern Gaza and the failure to allow the entry of food supplies. He pointed to the IOF's shelling of Palestinian civilians with artillery when a number of them were forced to go to the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to obtain food, and committing a massacre that left dozens of martyrs. Fares Afaneh also addressed the severe shortage of ambulance and emergency supplies and fuel for vehicles, in addition to the danger of moving on most of the roads controlled by the occupation army, calling for the necessity of intervention to save the catastrophic conditions in northern Gaza, stop the occupation's aggression, and enable them to carry out their humanitarian role in evacuating the martyrs and transporting the wounded and besieged. The Israeli entity continues its war of genocide against the Gaza Strip for the 375th consecutive day, with continued massacres against families and displ aced persons, and massive destruction of homes, property, and infrastructure, amidst tragic humanitarian conditions experienced by Palestinians and displaced persons in displacement camps in which they were forced to live due to the forced eviction practiced by the occupation in the cities of the Gaza Strip.
