Doha Bank Stars League: Al Ahli, Al Rayyan’s Coaches Looking forward for Victory Tomorrow

Doha: Al Ahli head coach Younes Ali affirmed his team's readiness to face Al Rayyan on Sunday, in Round 16 of the Doha Bank Stars League.

According to Qatar News Agency, Ali expressed that Al Ahli will seek to secure a win and will approach the game with high morale following their victory over Iran's Foolad Mobakareh Sepahan and their qualification for the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League Two. The head coach viewed this achievement as an important psychological boost for the team as they aim to regain balance in the league and secure the match's three points.

Meanwhile, Al Rayyan's Portuguese head coach Artur Jorge emphasized his players' readiness for the clash and their ambition to claim victory. Jorge noted that it will be the team's first match in Ramadan, which will require experience to handle such circumstances, especially as Al Rayyan have other matches scheduled during the holy month.

In the press conference, Jorge acknowledged that his team is well aware of facing a tough opponent with excellent continental achievements. He stated that his focus is currently on his team, adding that their last three matches were very good for boosting confidence and improving certain aspects for players and the team as a whole.

Jorge mentioned that his team possesses more than one playing style, which may change slightly depending on the opponent's approach.
