Doha: The Doha Forum, Qatar's premier platform for diplomacy, dialogue, and diversity, has been awarded the Qatar Tourism Award for "Top Meetings, Incentives and Exhibitions Event of the Year" for its 21st edition, held last December under the theme "Together Towards a Shared Future," and attracted over 4,000 guests from 142 countries. HE Executive Director of the Doha Forum, Mubarak Ajlan Al Kuwari, expressed gratitude to Qatar Tourism and the World Tourism Organization for this recognition. He emphasized that the Forum's standards are closely aligned with Qatar's broader tourism strategy and its commitment to excellence. Al Kuwari also highlighted the Forum's growth, noting its increasing ability to attract international guests and delegations. He remarked that the Doha Forum offers impactful discussions, unique networking opportunities, and world-class services, which play a significant role in solidifying Qatar's position as a global hub for major international events. He further outlined the Forum's vi sion to expand its international community by establishing new content partnerships globally, thereby enhancing Qatar's global reputation. The award ceremony for the second edition of the Qatar Tourism Awards, organized in partnership with the World Tourism Organization, commenced on Sunday, recognizing 36 individuals and institutions for their exceptional contributions to Qatar's tourism industry and its status as a top international destination. The 22nd Doha Forum is scheduled for December 7-8, 2024, in Doha. This upcoming edition will feature a distinguished lineup of global leaders, policymakers, thinkers, and influencers who will address critical global issues under the theme "The Imperative of Innovation".
