Doha: The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has successfully wrapped up an Asian Beach Volleyball Coaching Course in Doha, aiming to elevate national coaching standards in line with international practices. The closing ceremony was attended by prominent officials including Chairman of QVA's Beach Volleyball Committee, Mohamed Salem Al Kuwari, along with committee member, Mohamed Anbar Al Nasser, and General Supervisor of National Teams Sherif Al Shamrli.
According to Qatar News Agency, the course was led by internationally certified instructor Ahmed Amro Atta and featured advanced theoretical and practical sessions designed to enhance the skills of emerging coaches. Out of 14 participants, 11 passed rigorous assessments to earn certification.
This initiative forms part of ongoing collaboration between the QVA and both the Asian and West Asian Volleyball Federations, underscoring a shared commitment to developing volleyball coaching talent and raising the sport's profile across the region.
