Doha: The Doha Insurance Group's Net Profit saw a rise by 36.25 percent in the first half (H1) 2024, reaching a Net Profit of QR 110,991,280 in comparison to Net Profit QR 81,456,192 for the same period of the previous year. The Group's financial statements published on the Qatar Stock Exchange's website indicated that the Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.22 as of 30th June, 2024 versus Earnings per share (EPS) QR 0.16 for the same period in 2023. In the same context, Salam International's Net Profit jumped by 489 percent in H1 2024, reaching QR 26,774,141 in comparison to Net Profit QR 4,546,701 for the same period of the previous year. Its Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.023 as of 30th June, 2024 versus Earnings per share (EPS) QR 0.004 for the same period in 2023. As for Widam Food Company's Net Profit in H1 2024, it stands at QR 3,101,832 in comparison to Net Loss QR 35,678,893 for the same period of the previous year. The company's Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.02 as o f 30th June, 2024 versus loss per share QR 0.20 for the same period in 2023. As for the Net Profit of Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Co. in H1 2024, it dropped by 5.09 percent, reaching QR 2,998,356 in comparison to Net Profit QR 3,159,875 for the same period of the previous year.
