Dortmund: Borussia Dortmund announced Wednesday that it has signed Swedish international left-back Daniel Svensson on a permanent deal, with a contract running until 2028.

According to Qatar News Agency, the 23-year-old joined Dortmund on loan last January from Danish club Nordsjaelland, with the agreement including an option to buy at the end of the season. He has played in 15 matches for Dortmund so far, starting 11 of them, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

Dortmund currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga. They won six of their last seven matches. The club is making a strong run to finish in the top four and make the UEFA Champions League next season.
