Dozens of settlers renewed their storming on Wednesday of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy security from the Israeli occupation forces, who continued to impose strict measures and restrict citizens from entering the mosque and moving freely in its courtyards.
According to the Islamic Waqf Department in Occupied Jerusalem, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, listened to explanations about the "alleged temple," and performed Talmudic rituals at the Golden Gate and opposite of the Dome of the Rick (Qubbat Al-Sakhra), Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.
Since 2003, the Israeli occupation forces have allowed settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque via Mughrabi Gate. The Islamic endowments department in Occupied Jerusalem has called on the Israeli occupation authorities, more than once, to prevent such incursions and provocations, but to no avail. (QNA)
