Doha: Dreama Orphan Care Center has been awarded the 2024 Sanabel Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of orphan care across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The award was presented during a ceremony in Bahrain, that included many Gulf institutions.
According to Qatar News Agency, Executive Director of the Orphan Care Center (Dreama), Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al-Thani, expressed that winning such a prestigious award serves as a great motivation and recognition for the center's efforts to provide the best care for orphans. She emphasized that this award is a testament to their commitment to creating a safe and stable environment for orphans, enabling them build a bright future.
Sheikha Najla also mentioned that this achievement marks the beginning of a new phase of continuous giving. The center is committed to developing its programs and services to better meet the needs of the children it serves.
She further stated that this recognition is the result of collective work, and receiving the award at this major Gulf forum acknowledges the center's pioneering role in the field of orphan care across GCC. It also serves to inspire Dreama team to continue thriving to achieve their vision of enhancing social integration and empowering children on every level.
Sanabel Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in Orphan Care Institutions within the GCC is an initiative by Sanabel Orphan Care Association in Bahrain. Through this award, the association aims to encourage Gulf-based institutions to implement impactful community initiatives that respond to the real needs of the communities they serve.
