Lima, A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck west of Atico in Peru on Monday. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake's epicenter was located 54 kilometers from Atico and had a depth of 10 kilometers. As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage resulting from the earthquake. Peru experiences at least 400 noticeable earthquakes annually due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire, a major area of seismic activity that stretches along the western coast of the Americas.
