Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has held talks with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Cairo, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing key regional issues.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting underlined the close alignment between Cairo and Riyadh on the need for peaceful solutions to crises across the region, while preserving the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of states.

The discussions covered developments in several conflict zones, including Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and the Gaza Strip. President El Sisi stressed the importance of intensifying Egyptian-Saudi coordination on issues of mutual concern, particularly in light of ongoing regional challenges.

For his part, Prince Faisal bin Farhan reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to further enhancing relations with Egypt and increasing political consultation between the two countries. The talks come amid continued efforts by both countries to play a stabilizing role in the Middle East and the wider region.
