Doha: The Egyptian Cabinet on Wednesday strongly condemned the blatant Israeli attack on the State of Qatar, which targeted residential locations housing leaders of the Palestinian group Hamas in Doha.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, emphasized that Israel's actions constitute a serious violation of international law and the UN Charter. It warned that such aggression threatens to undermine ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and reach a ceasefire agreement.
The Egyptian government firmly rejected any justifications for the strike, calling it an unacceptable infringement on Qatar's sovereignty. It expressed full solidarity with Qatar in the face of what it labeled a flagrant breach of its security and territorial integrity.
The Cabinet also urged the international community to take responsibility by putting an end to such violations and holding those accountable for the attack.
