Cairo:President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt and President Nizar Amidi of Iraq engaged in a telephone conversation on Sunday to address various regional issues and explore avenues to enhance bilateral relations.

According to Qatar News Agency, President El-Sisi emphasized Egypt’s continuous efforts towards restoring stability in the Middle East during the call.

President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s steadfast support for Iraq’s security and stability, highlighting the commitment of both countries to deepen their cooperation. In response, President Amidi expressed appreciation for Egypt’s supportive stance on Iraq’s security and stability, acknowledging Egypt’s role in promoting peace in the region.
