According to Qatar News Agency, during the conversation, Abdelaaty updated Fidan on Egypt's ongoing efforts to broker a ceasefire, secure the release of hostages and prisoners, and provide essential humanitarian, medical, and shelter aid to those affected in the Gaza Strip.
The discussion also covered the current situation in Libya, with both officials sharing their perspectives on the unfolding events in the capital city, Tripoli.
