Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati discussed, in a phone call today with European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallas, the latest regional developments and the outcomes of the extraordinary Arab Summit held recently in Cairo, primarily, the Arab plan for early recovery, reconstruction and development in Gaza.

According to Qatar News Agency, Abdel Aati stressed, during the call, the importance of implementing all stages of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, stressing the need to find a political resolution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, especially since the two-state solution remains the only path to achieving peace in the region.
