Doha: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Indonesian counterpart, Prabowo Subianto, discussed on Saturday the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments of the Palestinian issue. According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides stressed that the only way to achieve lasting peace, security, and stability in the region is by beginning the reconstruction process of the Gaza Strip without displacing its residents, leading to a comprehensive and permanent solution based on the principles of international legitimacy and guaranteeing the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
