Doha: Egypt stands in full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its sisterly nations in confronting the heinous Israeli aggression, said HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Addressing the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha, His Excellency condemned the Israeli aggression on Doha as a grave violation of international law and the UN Charter, describing it as a dangerous precursor and a threat to the Arab and Islamic national security.

According to Qatar News Agency, El-Sisi highlighted that the aggression clearly reveals that the Israeli practices have transgressed political and military logic, as well as all red lines. He expressed strong condemnation of the Israeli actions against an Arab nation that has been pivotal in Gaza ceasefire mediation efforts, along with Egypt and the United States, to end the ongoing war affecting the Palestinian people.

El-Sisi warned that Israel's reckless conduct destabilizes regional security and could broaden the conflict, urging the international community to take responsibility to prevent future aggressions and ensure accountability for violations. He emphasized that Israel's aggressive actions show a lack of political will to establish peace, urging Arab and Islamic leaders to collaborate on a shared vision for regional security.

He mentioned the Arab League Council's recent resolution titled "Joint Vision for Security and Cooperation in the Region" as a basis for building a framework for regional security and cooperation. El-Sisi stressed that Israel must understand that security cannot be achieved through force but by adhering to international law and respecting the sovereignty of Arab and Islamic nations.

El-Sisi condemned the targeting of civilians and the policy of collective punishment practiced by Israel in Gaza, leading to civilian casualties. He affirmed Egypt's support for the Palestinian people and their rights, rejecting any proposals leading to their displacement. He called for serious and decisive action on the Palestinian issue, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He highlighted the significance of the upcoming Two-State Solution Conference at the United Nations General Assembly as a crucial opportunity for achieving a sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue. El-Sisi urged countries to recognize the State of Palestine to preserve the two-state solution.

El-Sisi underscored the importance of unity among Arab and Islamic nations in addressing regional challenges and defending their rights, particularly the right of Palestinians to establish their independent state. He called for a shift in perception of the region by adversaries, advocating for an Arab-Islamic mechanism for coordination and cooperation to confront security, political, and economic challenges.

President El-Sisi concluded by expressing gratitude to HH the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, for hosting the summit at a critical time, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to maintain regional stability and uphold international peace and security.
