Egyptian, Rwandan Presidents Discuss Ways to Enhance Cooperation Among Nile Basin Countries

Doha: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Rwandan President Paul Kagame discussed ways to boost cooperation among Nile Basin countries during a phone call Thursday, emphasizing the importance of consensus in advancing shared interests.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic and development fields, and joint projects in various sectors.

They also discussed the situation in Central Africa, focusing on ways to restore calm in the eastern Congo region and the importance of reaching a political solution to protect regional peace and security.
