Egypt’s House of Representatives Approves Cabinet Reshuffle

Doha: Egypt's House of Representatives, in an emergency session Tuesday, approved a cabinet reshuffle under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, renewing confidence in some current ministers.

According to Qatar News Agency, key appointments include Hussein Mohamed Ahmed Eissa as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Abdelaziz Konsowa as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Raafat Abdelaziz Hindi as Minister of Communications and IT, Diaa Rashwan as Minister of State for Media, Gen. Salah Mohamed Suleiman as Minister of Military Production, and Khaled Ali Maher as Minister of Industry.
