Novi Sad: Eight people were killed and two others injured in a train station roof collapse Friday in Serbia. Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said in a statement broadcast on local television that the roof of a train station in the city of Novi Sad partially collapsed, killing eight people and injuring two others who were taken to hospital for treatment. According to Qatar News Agency, local media reported that dozens of people were likely injured in the collapse, without specifying the reasons for the collapse of parts of the station roof. Thirteen people were injured last May when two trains collided in a tunnel in the Serbian capital, Belgrade.
