Gaza city: Eight Palestinians were martyred on Sunday as Israeli occupation warplanes and artillery bombed several areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that three siblings-all children-were martyred in an artillery strike on Ahmad Fikri Abu Warda Street in Jabalia al-Nazla, in the northern part of the Strip. Four others, including a young girl, were martyred and several more injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.
In Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, at least one person was martyred and several others wounded in another airstrike. Israeli occupation artillery also shelled two areas in the western outskirts of northeastern Khan Younis and in the northern part of the central governorate of the Strip.
As of earlier today, the death toll from Israel's assault on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 56,500 martyrs, with 133,419 others injured.
