Minister of Endowments, Mohammad Abdelsattar al-Sayyed, discussed during a meeting Wednesday with the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fauzan Al Rabia in Jeddah, preparations for performing the Hajj, and the Umrah for the Syrian pilgrims from the city of Damascus this year. 'It was agreed during the meeting that this year's Hajj and Umrah will be from Damascus, and under the supervision of the Syrian Ministry of Endowments, that the joint preparatory committees between the two ministries will discuss all the details and logistical procedures necessary to serve the pilgrims in Syria, and provide all the necessary facilities for them.' the Ministry of Endowments clarified in a statement.
