The English Football Association handed Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp a two-match ban, following remarks he made about referee Paul Tierney who officiated Liverpool's match against Tottenham last month.
In the press conference after the match, Klopp made remarks that accused Tierney of having something against Liverpool in particular. He was given a yellow card in stoppage time of the same match for running and shouting at the fourth official after his team scored the winning goal. This means that Klopp will miss the remaining two matches of his team's fight for Champions League football this season.
