Ethiopia’s Hayle Wins Prague International Marathon for 2nd Straight Year, Welde Claims Women’s Race

Prague: Ethiopia's Lemi Berhanu Hayle won the Prague international marathon for the second straight year on Sunday while his compatriot Bertukan Welde claimed the women's race. Haile, the 2016 Boston Marathon winner, completed the race in 2 hours, 5 minutes and 14 seconds, becoming the first runner to defend his title at the Prague Marathon, which celebrated its 30th edition today.

According to Qatar News Agency, Kenya's Kipkoech finished second, followed by Japan's Tetsuya Yoruizaka in third. Bertukan Welde finished in the women's race in 2 hours, 20 minutes, and 55 seconds.
