EU, Oman Talk Cooperation Enhancement

Brussels: The European Union and the Sultanate of Oman discussed bilateral cooperation in a meeting in Brussels on Tuesday. Head of Omani Foreign Ministry's Europe Department Munther bin Mahfouz Al Mandhari and Head of the European External Action Service's Arabian Peninsula and Iraq Division Anna-Maria Panagiotakopoulou explored ways to boost cooperation across trade, investment, fishery product exports, education and training, renewable green energy, environment, and tourism.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing mutual interests in various sectors. Both parties expressed interest in strengthening trade ties and increasing investment opportunities, particularly in renewable energy and environmental projects. The meeting also highlighted the potential for expanding fishery product exports and improving educational and training exchanges.
