European stock indices closed mixed thursday:uropean Stoxx 600 index fell 3.77 points, or 0.6 percent, to close at 617.81 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the French CAC 40 index rose 27.32 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 8,340 points. The British FTSE 100 index closed down 69.67 points, or 0.67 percent, at 10,402 points. The German DAX index also declined, falling 28.32 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 24,827 points.
