Paris:European stock indices opened lower on Thursday, influenced by a rise in oil prices. This development has reignited concerns over the sovereign debt markets of European nations, following a rebound during Wednesday’s trading.
According to Qatar News Agency, major European markets experienced declines with France’s CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange dropping 0.62 percent, and Germany’s DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange falling 0.70 percent.
In London, the UK’s FTSE 100 index decreased by 0.34 percent, while Italy’s FTSE MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange saw a decline of 0.45 percent.
