Nablus: European stock indices closed mixed Friday as investors monitored geopolitical tensions and events from the Davos Forum. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 0.1 percent to 608.34 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the UK's FTSE 100 index declined by 0.07 percent to 10,143.44 points. France's CAC 40 index also fell 0.07 percent, closing at 8,143.05 points. In contrast, Germany's DAX index rose 0.01 percent to 24,859.36 points.
