Doha: European stocks closed higher on the back of an announcement by the United States and the United Kingdom that they have reached a trade agreement.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Stoxx 600 index was up 0.4 percent to close at 535.63 points. Meanwhile, the German DAX index was up 1.02 percent and the French CAC 40 was up 0.89 percent.
