Doha: European shares were little changed on Wednesday as investors weighed a flurry of corporate earnings and awaited a key interest rate decision from the U.S. Federal Reserve later in the day. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index held at 575.66 points. Mining stocks led sectoral gains, rising 1.7 percent, while healthcare shares added 0.4 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the broader telecommunications index fell 1 percent, and utilities declined 0.6 percent. Among individual movers, Mercedes-Benz shares jumped 6.4 percent.
