According to Qatar News Agency, among the major markets, France's CAC 40 rose 0.37 percent, while the UK's FTSE 100 climbed 0.12 percent. Conversely, Italy's FTSE MIB index rose 0.27 percent. Meanwhile, the direction was more uncertain for Germany's DAX, declining 0.05 percent.
