European Stocks See Modest Gains Amid Low Liquidity

Doha: European stock indices opened slightly higher on Monday, marking the beginning of a tranquil session, as the absence of influential economic data coincided with continued low liquidity due to holidays in several global markets.

Germany's DAX index rose by approximately 0.41 percent at the start of trading, continuing the positive trajectory of blue-chip stocks in Frankfurt.

Meanwhile, the British FTSE index saw a rise of 0.16 percent, while France's CAC 40 index experienced a 0.28 percent increase at the open. In southern European markets, Italy's MIB index climbed by 0.54 percent, and Spain's IBEX 35 advanced by 0.85 percent at the commencement of trading.
