Eurozone Economy Maintains Modest Growth at Start of 2026

Brussels: Preliminary Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) data showed the eurozone economy maintained modest growth in January, with mixed performance between services and manufacturing.

According to Qatar News Agency, the composite PMI stood at 51.5, above the 50 expansion threshold, indicating continued but limited economic growth. Services remained in expansion despite some loss of momentum, while manufacturing stayed below 50, reflecting ongoing pressure from weak demand.
