Brussels: The Eurozone recorded economic growth of 1.5 percent in 2025, continuing its recovery after growth of 0.4 percent in 2023 and 0.9 percent in 2024.

Eurostat added that gross domestic product (GDP) in countries using the single currency rose by 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2025 compared with the previous quarter, and by 1.3 percent year on year.

Across the European Union as a whole, economic growth reached 1.6 percent in 2025, with strong momentum also recorded in the fourth quarter (+0.4 percent quarter on quarter and +1.4 percent compared with the final quarter of 2024).
