Hong Kong, Export Bahrain, in cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), facilitated the participation of Cartoon Planet Bahrain, a distinguished media company specialised in animation and advertising services as a VIP guest at the esteemed Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART), organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) that was held from the March 13-16. This comes as part of Export Bahrain's keenness to encourage the growth of the entrepreneurship and innovation culture in Bahrain. The four-day content market showcased a variety of multimedia content across a vast variety of genres from more than 700 exhibitors from over 30 countries. Cartoon Planet's participation was facilitated by Export Bahrain in cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), with the aim of promoting the distinguished level and unique skills of Bahraini creatives and reflecting a positive image of the Kingdom's regional leading position in the global entert ainment sector. The event served as an unparalleled platform for businesses to engage with over 7,300 industry practitioners from production, distribution, sales agents, service providers, and investors representing 41 countries and regions, creating endless opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking, as well as fostering international partnerships as they present their innovative services to audiences from all over the world. As a result, over 150 successful business engagements were achieved, accompanied by the arrangement of 30 impactful B2B meetings and 3 potential partnerships in the works. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Export Bahrain said that the facilitation of the participation of a national business in this event reflects Export Bahrain's commitment to providing opportunities for Bahraini businesses to showcase their capabilities on a global stage. "This facilitation will contribute to encouraging national talent towards expansion to regional and international markets, contributing to the diversification of the national economy and cementing a positive image of the kingdom's entertainment sector's position on the international stage," Fakhro said.
