Doha: The General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) condemned the savage aggression that the Israeli entity launched against Qatar on Tuesday. It stressed that it constitutes a blatant breach of a sovereign state and of all international laws and norms, as well as a dire threat to the security and stability of the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, FANA highlighted the constructive roles played by the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, on both regional and global stages, in bridging divides among states and groups, with the aim of achieving global security and peace, as well as welfare, justice, and safety for peoples across the globe.

This savage targeting, which occurred while Qatar was actively energizing its unwavering efforts to reconcile differences and pursue goodwill measures toward a blood-saving agreement, aims at prolonging wars, killings, and destruction, acts that the Israeli entity continues to perpetrate across the region.

In addition, FANA called upon the Security Council to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities to deter the Israeli entity and halt its savage assaults. It stressed that this approach exposes reckless conduct that would drag the region into further tension and erode the opportunities to achieve security and peace.

FANA highlighted that what the Israeli entity has done, in terms of escalating its assaults, proves to the entire world that it is unwilling to pursue peace and recognizes no boundaries for its recklessness and arrogance, showing no regard for the fundamental rules, tenets, and moral values that nations across the world adhere to.

In this regard, FANA confirmed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, against anything that affects its security, territorial integrity, and the reassurance of its citizens.
