Doha: Doha gears up to host the highly anticipated third edition of the "Match For Hope" initiative on January 30, 2026, at the iconic Ahmad Bin Ali World Cup Stadium. This inspiring event unites prominent content creators and football legends in a shared mission to support education worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, organized by Q Life, the cultural platform of the International Media Office, this year's edition will feature a thrilling final match between two teams composed of celebrities and former football stars-each team having secured a victory in one of the previous two editions. Fans can look forward to an exciting and fiercely competitive showdown as both teams vie for the coveted "Match For Hope" championship title.

The 2024 and 2025 matches successfully raised over USD 19.5 million in donations, thanks to generous contributions from donors, partners, and community members. These funds have been channeled directly to the Education Above All Foundation (EAA), supporting its vital projects aimed at providing quality education to out-of-school children across multiple countries.

Building on this legacy of generosity, the 2026 Match For Hope continues to harness the unifying power of sports and entertainment to drive meaningful, positive change in the lives of disadvantaged communities. By combining the passion of football with the reach of globally renowned content creators and legendary players, the Match For Hope initiative raises both funds and awareness, offering renewed hope for a brighter future to countless children around the world.

In its first two editions, the event featured exciting 11-a-side matches held at prestigious venues from the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums, captivating audiences and inspiring action worldwide. All proceeds from the event have been dedicated to EAA, underscoring the initiative's commitment to advancing quality education for vulnerable, out-of-school children around the globe.
